On July 1, SAP expanded its management team. The two former regional presidents Bill McDermott (Americas and Asia Pacific Japan) and Erwin Gunst (Europe, Middle East, and Africa, EMEA) joined the Executive Board along with Jim Hagemann Snabe, who is now responsible for all development units behind the SAP Business Suite applications and the SAP NetWeaver technology platform.
